ProloGel Neuropathy contains the same ingredients as ProloGel Pain & Inflammation Formula (assists with pain relief) with the addition of several ingredients, including Lidocaine (topical anesthetic), intended to soothe sensations of prickling, tingling and shooting associated with nerve irritation.
ProloGel Neuropathy is intended for every-now-and-again flare-ups where quick relief is desired. This formula is not intended for more than 10 days of continuous use. For longer-term use, consider using ProloGel Pain & Inflammation formula (green label). That is, use ProloGel Neuropathy (blue label) for the flare-ups and ProloGel Pain & Inflammation Formula (green label) for everything in-between.
Format & Characteristics:
Gel-Cream is a firm cream, preferred by those looking for a luxurious texture on the skin.
The 6oz tube is the best value format for most users. The 6oz tube ships in a box (as shown).
Use ProloGel on clean, unbroken skin of normal moisture up to 4 times daily (or before activity expected to aggravate the target area). If applied to overly dry skin, irritation or itching might occur.
For optimal application method, use the PZone method (described on this site).
Use a generous amount of gel with each application (typically at least 2 Tablespoons per application). Use more for larger body parts. Ideally, use gloves with each application (optional) to allow for maximal gel penetration into target area.
Concentrate the gel into a focused target area - do not let the gel dissipate. Spend a little more time (and gel) on small sore areas that you find within the target area.
If any skin rash or irritation occurs, immediately discontinue use.
Do not use ProloGel Neuropathy for more than 10 continuous days.
Do not cover ProloGel Neuropathy in a bandage or wrap.
