Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) has been shown, in a growing body of research, to have a range of potential health benefits, including reducing pain and inflammation, promoting mobility and counteracting deterioration of joints (especially at the cartilage matrix) and modulating the immune response associated with joint degradation.
Recent evidence suggests that MSM dampens inflammatory expression following exercise (likely diminishing post-exercise soreness) and reduces post- exercise immunosuppression (incl. supporting anti-oxidant levels).
It has also been shown to counteract oxidative damage associated with aging and stress on the body.
